below is part of a current world project by DaimlerChrysler. The Hydrogen FUEL CELL Bus develops 250 Kilowatts of power and the hydrogen is supplied from different sources at different locations around the world. The project runs the buses at "full throttle" as in normal operating conditions. Western Australia is currently participating in this world trial. We will have this bus in some number by year 2006.At the current rate of development in Japan, hydrogen buses will be available before this bus trial is over

Natural gas powered buses are currently in use around the world and there is growing debate on their excellent pollution reducing ability. Combine this with the advent of hydrogen / natural gas blended fuels, the pollution reduction is quite dramatic. In fact France are developing a home refueling system using natural gas for such powering a car. The unit has already been built and cars running on natural gas can be refueled at home.
